What is Web 2.0?
Although Web 2.0 eludes to a new version of the internet, it is the same internet. However, new technologies and styles have led to a revolution of sorts. Web 2.0 is the phrase used when these are utilized.
New Technologies?
Again, this is a little misleading. Web 2.0 owes a lot of its allure to things like Ajax. Although Ajax wasn't termed as such until 2005, the technology of Ajax is basically just a combination of previous languages and technologies.
Why is Web 2.0 better?
Web 2.0 technology and design has allowed for quicker and cleaner pages. BlueScreen has always prided ourselves on quick and clean, however it isn't until we made the decision to begin developing in Web 2.0 style that we realized we were never quick and clean.
So, How much?
BlueScreen has always prided ourselves on quicker, cleaner, and value. As we sat down and considered this move to designing in 2.0 we realized that it would take longer to create a site. We also looked around and thought about prices. We decided that we weren't going to change our prices. No one needs to get paid $75 per hour to do this. So, we kept our price the same, $30 per hour of work.
But, you don't want 2.0?
We hate to sound cliche, but it's the same old adage. The customer is always right. You want 1.0, you can still have it with the same care and thought we put into all sites.
How Long?
